IBS and PMS!

After all these years of suffering from this stiff sharp nagging pain in my lower back, and this other acute stabbing in my gut, I have come to conclude that both are Serotonin related Syndromes!

I have (PMS) Piriformis Muscle Sydrome and (IBS), Irritable Bowel Syndrome! Both are triggered from having a very stressful life, and the only remedy is make major altercations in my lifestyle, such as: avoiding stressful triggers, a restricted diet, exercising with a mixture of lateral movements along with forward, mandatory stretch periods, physical rehabilitation with a chiropractor or taking certain types of prescribed medications (stool softeners).

Stress triggers the abnormal amount(s) of a certain neurotransmitter called Seratonin to produced too little or too much from within my colon gastrinal tract. Which causes contractual spasms and high sensitivity in the colon cell walls while irregularity of motility takes place. With Serotonin in dyficiency, it induces or contracts to slow causing constipation; and with high levels of Serotonin, than it tends to induce at a rapid pace in motility. It should be important to mention that Serotonin within the colon cell walls becomes exceedingly hypersensitive during contractions that is either low or highd, leaving me with an awfully strong stabbing pain in the abdomen, inflicting enough to cause me to be in a paralysis or incapacitated state.

Relief from both being bloated, and the excretion of feces does bring relief to this sharp stabbing pain within the small intestines, stomach and esophagas areas. The nervous system, or nerves that travels through the entire intestinal tract makes it way through spinal chord to the brain relays this message that such a stabbing pain is nagging.

The back pain or PMS, Piriformis Muscle Syndrome is problematic with the Sciatic Nerve, and interacts with the central nervous system and the spinal column to the brain as well. Therefore, the aggravating pain from ones lower back, just like stress, fatigue and appetite tends to increase the abnormal amount of Serotonin and hyperactivity within the gastrinal tract or my gut area. With adverse pain, there is co-relation between my (PMS) Piriformous Muscle Syndrome and my (IBS) Irritable Bowel Syndrome with a common denominating factor in both scenarios, low Serotonin levels!

In sum, this chemical at the sufficient amount is known to bring a sense of euphoria, on the contrary with the too little of it may result into a depressive state. Serotonin otherwise functions to treat and regulate stress, sleep deprivation, fatigue, depression, back pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, mood swings and obviously in my case here, IBS and PMS!

Most Sincere,
